How many treatments will it take? The main goal is to get you feeling better and out of pain as quickly as possible and you the patient play a role in determining treatment frequency. The 'hands-on' nature of chiropractic is essentially what may lead to the need for multiple treatments. You may feel great after a single treatment or it may take additional treatment. Either way, you the patient are in control. Additionally you may also find that regualr adjustments as part of your health routine keep you feeling great and performing optinally. When you move well you feel well!
Is chiropractic treatment safe?Yes! Chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest drug-free, non-invasive therapies available for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. Although chiropractic has an excellent safety record, no health treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects. The risks associated with chiropractic, however, are very small. Many patients feel immediate relief following chiropractic treatment, but some may experience mild soreness, stiffness or aching, just as they do after some forms of exercise. Current research shows that minor discomfort or soreness following spinal manipulation typically fades within 24 hours. (American Chiropractic Association, 2019)
